Tabure
RESTAURANT REBRAND, ST ALBANS • BERHAMSTED • HARPENDEN, U.K.
Tabure is a trio of modern Turkish restaurants with a loyal following across St Albans, Berkhamsted and Harpenden. The founders saw an opportunity to challenge perceptions of Turkish dining and reposition Tabure as “a London restaurant experience, outside of London.” They asked us to help them look and sound every bit as premium as the food and hospitality they were already known for.

We began with strategy. Through brand positioning workshops we defined Tabure’s target demographic, competitive landscape, values and personality. Central to this was a positioning statement that set them apart: “A rich mosaic of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Asian flavours.”
This idea allowed Tabure to move beyond the narrow definition of Turkish cuisine and instead celebrate the diversity and richness of its influences giving the brand a broader, more adventurous platform to grow from.

With the strategy defined, we moved on to the design phase of the project. We refined the logo to be more confident and timeless and then developed a full suite of brand assets.
We used purposeful typography, a rich yet approachable colour palette, and bespoke patterns that nod subtly to Turkish heritage without leaning on tired clichés to form the visual foundation.
To reinforce the premium positioning, we introduced gold foil finishes across menus, gift cards and business cards, all printed on uncoated premium papers. The result is a tactile, elevated identity.

The rebrand gives Tabure a fresh confidence and a distinctive voice in a competitive dining market. By reframing the cuisine as sophisticated, design-led and authentic, Tabure now speaks to a wider audience while still feeling like a neighbourhood favourite.
